Gidday Folks!

Welcome to Room 1, Motupipi School's senior class of awesome Year 5 and 6 kids!

Term 3 has been an exciting collection of teaching and learning including Speech Competitions; whole school Jump Jam sessions; a Nelson Chess Tournament; a class Samba Drumming workshop and performance; weekly inter-school Mini-ball; class Book Club; School Science Fair; Nelson Hockey Tournament and a sensational school fair for Daffodil Day!

Room One at Taupo Point - Abel Tasman National Park

As part of "Project Janzoon", where our whole school is involved with looking after our environment; specifically to return our local national park to it's original state, Room One visits our special place - Taupo Point. We studied evidence of decreased pests, observed the growth of trees planted by our school a year ago and enjoyed being in this wonderful part of New Zealand.
